Asperhofen Our partnership has began in the April of 1991, when Lajos Szirtes travelled to Asperhofen. An other delegation visit Zalakaros in the November of 1991 from Austria. The two town decided in 1995, that they sign the partnercity declaration.

The parntership between the two city was declared in 2008. Olesno is the capital city of Oleski county and the biggest city in Silesia.
The patron saint of Olesno is St. Anna, just like for Zalakaros.
Budapest Zalakaros declared the partnership with the hungarian capital city on the 22th of July in 2004.
