In Zalakaros, everything revolves around water

After all, our secret lies in our water. Nearly six decades ago, it all began with the medicinal water, which drew people to this little village in Zala County like a magnet. Just as it did in the past, the water continues to provide a space for encounters, for families, for those seeking healing and for those in search of new experiences. It has created a way of life, a town, a community – a meeting place for generations, where we are connected to one another in a thousand ways!

A green town centre covering an area of 6 hectares

A multifunctional indoor reception building and event centre, together with the associated outdoor event space, a new green town centre and a promenade, have been completed; as well as providing infrastructure, enriches the spa town’s therapeutic and holiday resort atmosphere through both its visual elements and its range of services.

A modern health resort has been established

The development was carried out on a 6-hectare site, situated in the most valuable central area of Zalakaros. It stretches from the existing Arboretum, through the site of the former sports ground, to Dísz Square, which connects to the Termáltó and Ökopart tourist facilities, forming a unified whole with them and thereby creating Zalakaros’s new town centre. The development has created a visitor-centred tourist attraction that embodies the overall image of a modern spa resort.
